What we’re looking for

Seeking potential

We truly believe there is no wrong path into a career in tech. You may be at university and want some experience, taking part in a bootcamp, or maybe you’ve been learning in your spare time.

We’re primarily focused on people with basic knowledge of marketing, a good attitude, and who are passionate about multimedia content creation. If you fit into these three things, we encourage you to apply!

Working flexibly

With offices in central Edinburgh and Leeds, we’re looking for candidates who are available for hybrid working in either of these locations (in the office three days a week).

This way, our interns will be able to get the full experience of life at xDesign, with a mixture of home and office working.

Embracing our values

With every application process, we look for people who embrace our values: we challenge, we care, we collaborate. Our people act with integrity and challenge our clients, and each other, in pursuit of better solutions.

We care about our craft, colleagues, clients and their customers. And we are all equal. Individually we are brilliant, together we are unstoppable.

The recruitment process

1.

Submit application

First, you’ll fill out the application form on our website, which will consist of a marketing-specific question. We will review applications as they come in.

2.

Initial interview

Next, you’ll have an initial first-stage interview with the emerging talent team to discuss your skills, experience and interests. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the programme.

3.

Discovery Day

Finally, you’ll be invited to our Discovery Day, where you’ll take part in a practical group exercise, a role-specific interview, and a culture-focused interview.
